The last two times that Celebrity Status had competed around just one turn he had been defeated by a combined eighteen lengths. Lifetime Celebrity Status was a career oh-for-seven at today's distance. So while Celebrity Status fit Race 7 on class, it was my opinion that he did not deserve a spot on our big ticket; and for that reason, today was a day for us to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 9 / 6 / 3 / 1 were rewarded with a payout of $433.55 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
