For yet another example of why I consider backup tickets to be so important, had I made # 14 Webslinger a "C+" Selection rather than a "C" in the American Turf, I would have collected Saturday, rather than contributing.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Kentucky Derby Pick Four sequence of 14 / 7 / 5 / 8 were rewarded with a payout of $1,318.35 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
