4/18/20 Oaklawn Park Late Pick Four - Results

Race 8 - The Count Fleet - # 9 Whitmore (Final Odds 3.10*) - "A" Selection
Race 9 - # 6 Break Even (1.60*) - "B" Selection
Race 10 - The Apple Blossom - # 14 Ce Ce (3.90) - "B" Selection
Race 11 - # 3 Curlin Rules (17.10) - "C" Selection

Congratulations to Whitmore and his connections on his performance Saturday, winning his third Count Fleet while surpassing three million dollars (US) in career earnings; and in the process becoming the winningest stakes horse in Oaklawn Park history.  As regards my own performance Saturday, my failure to zero in on either winner in the stakes meant that I was unable to spread wider where needed in the nightcap.

Oh well; onto the next race.

For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the four runners to which I would have cashed in the final leg:

# 2 Kurilov (Chi) (5.60) - $198.65 Finish: 4th
# 5 Degrom (4.40) - $319.80 Finish: 3rd
# 8 Super Dude (16.00) - $505.85 Finish: 5th
# 10 Matrooh (3.00*) - $196.70 Finish: 7th

Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of  9 / 6 / 14 / 3  were rewarded with a payout of $562.40 for their fifty cent wager.  May God bless them as they spend their winnings.

Peace and Love,

Jimbo
