Keeping it short, the story of the night was that my big ticket single, # 5 Drc All Inclusive (0.70*), was a neck too slow in getting under the wire in the opening leg, and had to settle for the Place. Or, looked at another way, the Post Time Favorite came through in every contest except the one where I had him as a single. But regardless of how you look at it, the bottom line is I had all but one; and missing one is all that it took to make Saturday a night for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Primetime Pick Four sequence of 1 / 3 / 1 / 4 were rewarded with a payout of $115.55 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
