"I fought the chalk and the chalk won," may never be a verse in a Top Twenty song, but it does serve as a pretty apt description of how my Wednesday went. Had the Post Time Favorite been my "A" Selection in every leg, I would have collected, instead of contributed. But such was not to be.
Oh well; onto the next race.
