Big mistake on our part not having Weewinnin on our tickets, as he was clearly (with the scratch of # 11 Surfcup) the lone speed in The California Dreamin'; and, yes, that's a factor to reckon with, even on the turf. We failed to get any of our "A" Selections home; indeed, in half the races our "A" Selections didn't even finish in the money. So overall not one of our better Pick Four plays.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 1 / 5 / 1 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $1,776.70 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
