7/16/17 Sacramento Late Pick Four - Results

Race 5 - # 4 Tuscan Warrior (Final Odds 1.60*) - "A" and "C" Selection*
Race 6 - # 4 Barton Lodge (Ire) (2.10*) - "A" Selection
Race 7 - # 8 Artie B Good (7.30) - "B" Selection
Race 8 - # 7 Midvale Magic (5.60) - "C" Selection

* # 3 Pepper and Salt, a "C" Selection, was a late scratch in Race 5.  I therefore received the Post Time Favorite, # 4 Tuscan Warrior, as his replacement on my tickets.

As anticipated, the class drop allowed # 4 No Problem (1.20*) to be much closer to the pace in the nightcap than he had been in his more recent starts.  However, as was not anticipated, No Problem was not the one running best late through the stretch in the finale; and for that reason and others, today was a day for me to contribute instead of collect.

Oh well; onto the next race.

For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the two runners to which I would have cashed in the finale:

# 2 Outlook (4.10) - $271.35 Finish: 3rd
# 4 No Problem (1.20*) - $111.80 Finish: 4th

Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of  4 / 4 / 8 / 7  were rewarded with a payout of $249.05 for their fifty cent wager.  May God bless them as they spend their winnings.

Peace and Love,

Jimbo
