As it was on Day 1, so it was on Day 2: the opening leg of the sequence, the contest that I figured to be the most wide open, lived up to its billing; in this case being won by the longest shot on the board. Speaking of which, congrats to Trainer Aidan O'Brien, who not only picks up his first win in the Breeders' Cup Mile, but who also conditioned the next two finishers in that event, for a Trifecta that paid $4,393.00 for a fifty cent wager. As for my play: miss one, miss 'em all, it's all the same, as Saturday was a day for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct All Breeders' Cup Late Pick Four sequence of 15 / 10 / 3 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $4,556.15 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
