Last time out, My Aunt Tillie finished sixth at this class level over this track at Saturday's distance, in back of a couple of today's opponents; specifically, over ten lengths behind # 3 New Appeal (7.80) and about five lengths behind # 10 B Deb's Fortune (5.10). So major props to the wagering public, who, by making her the Post Time Favorite off her 5-1 Morning Line Odds, were able to sniff out that My Aunt Tillie would reverse that result to post her first victory (and only second in-the-money finish) since May 6, 2018 (nine starts ago).
Anyway, it made little difference to my play, as I was already out after the second leg. While # 11 Screenwriter (14.50) ran well in defeat in the third leg, picking up the Place just a neck behind the winner, singling the entry proved to have been the correct way to go. Still, even with the extra money to play with that singling would have provided, it's unlikely that I would have put either Sperling or My Aunt Tillie on the main ticket, let alone both.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 6 / 10 / 1 / 11 were rewarded with a payout of $236.00 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.

But Golden Gift, an eleven year old gelding, is dropping significantly in price off a three month layoff; so it's fair to be concerned about the current form of Golden Gift.
Sevenheartswarrior looks to be the one that will be running best late; while Man of Blues could be quickest earlier. The backup "C" Selections are the rest of the field.

Looking at the weather forecast for Florence, KY Saturday evening, it appears that there is a definite possibility that the card could be cancelled, due to heavy rains along with strong winds. And while a cancellation would make this my most profitable play of 2020 so far, let's hope that the weather is not so severe as to prevent the competition from taking place.
