So close and yet so far. In the opening leg, "B" Selection and Place finisher # 7 Forest B (7.15) was just a half length too slow in getting under the wire. Or, looking at the sequence from the other end and leaving the opening leg intact, had I made Dreaming of Drew my top pick rather than second choice my play would have cashed Saturday. But neither of those things happened; and therefore Saturday was a day for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well, onto the next race.
For the record, here is the $0.20 Will Pay for the one runner to which I would have cashed in the last leg of the sequence:
