When you're not going well, when you single, you lose; and when you go "ALL", the Post Time Favorite wins. Such was the case Saturday, as my main ticket single, # 4 Hard Not to Love (2.00*) could do no better than seventh in the Santa Monica; while Scarto, whom I tagged as my top pick in the nightcap, won easily in a leg where I had everyone.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 9 / 7 / 1 / 10 were rewarded with a payout of $479.75 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
