There were some positives in my handicapping excursion Saturday, including leaving the Post Time Favorite in the opening leg, # 6 Pocket Square (GB) (2.50*) off my main ticket, as Pocket Square would cross under the wire fifth. Unfortunately there just weren't enough positives, as Saturday ultimately was a day for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Belmont Stakes Pick Four sequence of 8 / 3 / 4 / 2 were rewarded with a payout of $269.25 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
