So it turns out that Shell Shocker should have been a single after all. Would singling Shell Shocker in the opening leg have allowed me to spread wider in legs two and three and find the winners of those two races? It's possible; but unlikely. While the winners of Race 6 and Race 7 were certainly reasonable selections, reviewing the Past Performances I'm of the mind that I would have chosen other options had I added more runners to my main ticket.
Oh well; onto the next race.
