City Chapel, the longshot claim that we've been following, made her twenty-seventh start for Owner/Trainer Victor Trujillo Saturday in Race 7 at Golden Gate Fields, an unrestricted $20k Claiming Race. Breaking from the five hole, City Chapel (Final Odds 6.60) was last at the half and sixth after three quarters before going three wide in the stretch to pass tiring runners and grab the Show. For his efforts today City Chapel earned $2,400 in purse money for his connections, bringing his total earnings since joining the Trujillo barn to $72,955.
