In Saturday's nightcap at Woodbine, "B" Selection # 7 Marais (29.40) was a half length too late in getting under the wire, and had to settle for the Place. So it was probably for the best that "A" Selection # 6 Millennium Force (2.50) lost the photo to Souper Munnings in Saturday's penultimate race; because being alive to a 29-1 shot in the final leg of The Late Pick Four just to see them take the Place by less than daylight would have been a much worse beat than the events that actually transpired.
Oh well, onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 8 / 5 / 3 / 8 were rewarded with a payout of $293.59 for their twenty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
