The opening leg of the sequence saw our "A" Selection, # 1 Jax Heritage (2.20*) receive a brutal trip, being blocked and steadied multiple times on his way to a fourth place finish. And that was the difference between us cashing or trashing, as we had the other three winners on our big ticket. But that's the chance you take when you play a turf horse on the rail who doesn't have good early speed.
Oh well; onto the next race.
