12/15/13 Hollywood Park Late Pick Four - Results

Race 6 - # 9 Teasing Moment (Final Odds 15.20) - No Selection
Race 7 - # 6 Sweetest Secret (54.90) - No Selection
Race 8 - The Playa Del Rey - # 2 Teddy's Promise (0.60*) - "A" Selection
Race 9 - # 2 Bourne Hot (1.40*) - "A" Selection

The Race 6 - Race 7 Double of Teasing Moment and Sweetest Secret paid $1,636 for a deuce (out of a total pool of $19,974).  While I might be able to delude myself into thinking that I could have had one of those horses on my tickets, the only way that I could have had both horses would have been if I had bought both races, or if I had just automatically played all horses that were making the equipment change to Blinkers On.  Incidentally, whatever Horsesanddivorces was running on today, it might be a good idea to give her less of it the next time.

As chaotic as Races 6 and 7 were, that's how formful Races 8 and 9 were, with the two Post Time Favorites winning clear and joining together for a $2 Double that paid $7.40 (out of a total pool of $103,189).  But for us that was too little too late, as our Late Pick Four play results in a Net Loss of $56.00.

Oh well; onto the next race.

Meanwhile, those who played the correct Pick Four sequence of  9 / 6 / 2 / 2  were rewarded with a payout of $1,467.80 for their fifty cent wager.  May God bless them as they spend their winnings.

Peace and Love,

Jimbo
