When handicapping the above races, I thought that Race 9 was the most difficult contest to figure out; but as it turned out we did in fact have a handle on that one, as Race 9 was one of the two legs in the sequence in which we were able to get an "A" Selection home. Unfortunately for us those were also the only two legs in which we were able to get any selection home, as we had no part of the winner in either the opener or the finale.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 8 / 8 / 2 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $2,679.25 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
And while it wasn't the pool in which we were swimming, I just want to take a moment to congratulate whoever it was who took down the Pick Six, as the correct sequence of 9 / 5 / 8 / 8 / 2 / 9 paid $1,478,942.40 to one winning two dollar ticket. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
