Race 6 - # 4 Unusual Storm (Final Odds 0.90*) - "C" Selection
Race 7 - # 5 Pebble Beach Baby (6.40) - "A" Selection
Race 8 - The Contender - # 5 Mt Veeder (0.40*) - "B" Selection
Race 9 - # 9 Love My Bud (9.00) - No Selection
Two odds-on Post Time Favorites won, and we didn't use either as an "A" Selection, meaning that the public was much smarter than we were in those two events. Had we been clever enough to use Unusual Storm as a "B" Selection rather than a "C", or Mt Veeder as an "A" rather than a "B", we would have been alive entering the finale - where we would have had our hearts broken, as our "A" Selection # 12 Wade (0.90*) simply refused to pass Love My Bud in the stretch and lost the photo by a nose. So sometimes things happen for a reason.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 4 / 5 / 5 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $123.55 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
