So, I handicapped the opening leg. I saw # 5 Tiz a Kiss (1.70*) as a solid favorite. I looked closely and realized that # 10 Egyptian Empire (37.60) stood a strong chance of running a race at least equal to that of the likely favorite. And I was proven right; as Egyptian Empire beat the Post Time Favorite to the wire by about three quarters of a length.
The problem is that they weren't finishing Win / Place but rather 7th / 8th.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 8 / 11 / 4 / 11 were rewarded with a payout of $268.40 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
