Allaboutaction certainly deserved greater consideration than that which I had given him, if only because of the lifetime record of this Jerry Hollendorfer trainee on Fast dirt tracks (one-for-four, with two Place finishes) prior to Thursday's running. Meanwhile Proudly Elegant, a first time starter, probably warranted a role in The Late Pick Four play based upon the fact that only one of the experienced runners in Thursday's nightcap had finished in the Superfecta their last time out. On the positive side my big ticket single, C. C. Zipp, won as expected; though as can be seen from the Final Odds of 1-2 (from a Morning Line of 5-2) the win was expected by virtually all the punters.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 7 / 2 / 5 / 5 were rewarded with a payout of $1,642.20 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
