I expressed my concerns in the preview regarding # 1 Perfect Set (1.00*) holding his form in the second leg, as he had twice previously in his last three races failed as the Post Time Favorite in Starter Allowances. Well, today Perfect Set made it three out of his last four races that he has failed as the Post Time Favorite in a Starter Allowance; and while we had the winner of that leg on our tickets, we didn't use him predominately enough; and for that reason, today was our day to contribute instead of cash.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 9 / 5 / 8 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $885.90 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
