I'll give Saturday's effort a "Fair" rather than "Poor" grade, as my single in the opening leg, # 4 Exactamente (0.70*) missed victory by just a head; while finding room on my tickets for The Perfect Square in the third leg would have required advance knowledge that # 1 Candy's Martini (2.70), who had finished well in front of The Perfect Square in each of the latter's prior two contests, would be pulled up and walked off in the early stages. Or I could just say that I needed one over the track after having been playing dirt tracks most of 2018, and hope for better results next time out.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 6 / 5 / 4 / 8 were rewarded with a payout of $196.10 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
