Three backup "C" Selections among the four winners is a pretty good sign that I didn't have a real good handle on the sequence. Perhaps an even more telling sign that I wasn't seeing the ball well is that the four entrants that made it onto the big ticket in the opening leg were the final four runners to cross under the wire in that contest. But, miss by a nose or miss by a mile, it's all the same as far as the bottom line is concerned, as Saturday was clearly a day for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
