Sometimes you do better than the results may indicate. This was one of those times where we did much worse then you may gather by looking at just the results.
Yes, we managed to capture three "A's", which sure looks impressive on the scoreboard. But we failed to identify Red Outlaw as a standout in the Uniformity, in which he was an easy winner; we underestimated the ability of the experienced runners in the second leg of the sequence; and the finale, a race we thought was pure chaos, turned out to be one of the most formful contests of this weekend. We went over budget on a play where our only winning selections were chalk. So while we connected three of the four dots, it most definitely was not a good showing.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 7 / 4 / 10 / 7 were rewarded with a payout of $51.75 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
