In the preview we said that Race 8 was a wide open affair; and we were proven correct when Luvuryan picked up her second career victory in her twenty-eighth start. Unfortunately for us we had no part of Luvuryan on our tickets, which is one of the reasons why today was a day for us to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 5 / 6 / 1 / 7 were rewarded with a payout of $255.20 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
