We had the right idea in the opening leg, as we played against the odds-on Favorite, # 5 Inexcess Time (0.80*), by leaving him off our big ticket. Unfortunately, we played against him with the wrong selections, as we had no part of the winner in that contest.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Five sequence of 7 / 1 / 3 / 8 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $1,069.70 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
