We hit the "ALL" button in the opening leg just to see our "A" Selection cross under the wire a neck in front of the Post Time Favorite, # 7 Proudtobesicilian (2.00*); so perhaps that contest wasn't such a mess after all. Instead it turned out to be the nightcap which we didn't fully grasp, having as we did no part of either the winner or the Place runner, # 3 Brookys Star (4.40).
Oh well; onto the next race.
For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the four runners to which we were alive in the finale:

Since a victory by Ryder's Starlight or An Unusual Group would have allowed us to collect our "All A Selections" ticket in addition to our big ticket, the payouts given above would have been trebled had either of those two won.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 3 / 6 / 2 / 2 were rewarded with a payout of $31.45 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
