Race 8 - The Pacific Classic - # 2 Collected (Final Odds 3.00) - "A" Selection
Race 9 - # 10 Edwards Going Left (1.70*) - "B" Selection
Race 10 - The Del Mar Oaks - # 10 Dream Dancing (6.60) - No Selection
Race 11 - # 6 Powder (3.30) - "C" Selection
The Del Mar Oaks saw one of my two "B" Selections in that contest, # 12 Beau Recall (Ire) (5.40) lose the head bob at the wire; but winning that photo would have only set me up for the disappointment of having all the winners on my tickets without having them all on any one ticket. So it was a "close, but no cigar" day; which is just another way of saying that it was a day to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 2 / 10 / 10 / 6 were rewarded with a payout of $304.05 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
