The second leg of the sequence saw "A" Selection # 8 Grazen Sky (2.60*), who was eighth after six furlongs, come five wide out of the final turn to take the lead in the stretch; only to lose the photo by a neck to a determined Little Curlin. And, in a refrain that has become all too familiar, that lost photo was the difference between us cashing or trashing our tickets, as we had the other three winners covered on our big ticket.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 5 / 3 / 7 / 6 were rewarded with a payout of $888.30 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
