9/1/18 Del Mar Late Pick Four - Results

Race 8 - # 4 Prince Earl (Final Odds 2.30*) - "C" Selection
Race 9 - # 8 Magic On Tap (0.80*) - "A" Selection
Race 10 - The John C Mabee - # 9 Vasilika (4.20) - No Selection
Race 11 - # 9 Kindred (6.50) - "B" Selection

Prince Earl in the opening leg was much more highly regarded by the public than by me, being bet down from his Morning Line Odds of 9-2 to Post Time Favoritism; and the public was clearly right Saturday, as Prince Earl was able to easily make the jump from state bred only competition to open company, and is now two-for-two lifetime.

So the big ticket went two-for-four, as I got home an "A" and a "B" Selection on the main dirt track, while pulling no better than a backup "C" Selection and a miss on the grass.  I think that pretty nicely encapsulates how this meet seems to have gone for me; at least to this point.

Oh well; onto the next race.

Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of  4 / 8 / 9 / 9  were rewarded with a payout of $132.30 for their fifty cent wager.  May God bless them as they spend their winnings.

Peace and Love,

Jimbo
