Race 10 - # 8 Sparkle Shine (7.30) - "C" Selection
Race 11 - # 1 Gurnick (4.60) - "C" Selection
The fourth leg of the sequence, Race 9, saw # 10 One Son of a Chief (28.90), one of my "B" Selections for that event, take the field from gate to nearly the wire, missing victory by just a neck. Had One Son of a Chief been able to hold on 'til the end, the resulting payouts would have been even more interesting than that which you see below. Of course, it would have had no effect on my bankroll, as neither of the final two winners in the sequence were to be found on my main ticket, thus making Sunday a day for me to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Golden Pick Six sequence of 8 / 2 / 1 / 1 / 8 / 1 were rewarded with a payout of $28,073.80 for their twenty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
