On the plus side, I was correct not to single # 4 Speed Saver (1.20*) in the nightcap, as that runner closed well, but too late to get to the winner, and had to settle for the Show. I was also correct in stating that the Win Pool would find the winner of the all first time starters third leg in the sequence, as The White Shadow, second choice on the Morning Line but Post Time Favorite, was an easy winner of that contest. Unfortunately I wasn't correct where it matters, as I close the weekend as I began, getting three out of four home on the big ticket.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Late Pick Four sequence of 4 / 1 / 2 / 7 were rewarded with a payout of $159.65 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
