The story of today's result is that we picked the wrong leg in which to spread, as we used six runners in The Belmont Gold Cup just to watch the Favorite win comfortably. Had we been more laser focused in that contest rather than scattershot in our approach, we may have found room for Joking and Dacita (Chi) on our big ticket, rather than using them both in backup slots. But we didn't; and for that reason today was a day for us to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 2 / 2 / 5 / 9 were rewarded with a payout of $693.25 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
