Mr. Roary entered today's Rainbow Stakes still a maiden, having failed to hit the wire first in any of his eight previous starts. But Mr. Roary took it to the field today, leading the pack from first call right up to finish line, hitting the wire a nose in front of # 10 Ralis (7.80), one of the "B" Selections on our tickets. So for the second Saturday in a row, our Pick Four play loses by a nose.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 3 / 1 / 4 / 10 were rewarded with a payout of $607.60 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
