# 2 Destin (8.40) was ahead by a length and a half in the stretch in The Belmont, and he gave it his all 'til the end; but Destin's best just wasn't enough, as Creator was able to get his nose down on the wire first; and that nose was the difference between us cashing or trashing our tickets today.
Oh well; onto the next race.
For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the runners to which we were alive in the finale:

Had Exaggerator won, we would have cashed for $520.50, because we would have collected not only on our big fifty cent ticket, but also on our one dollar “All A Entries” ticket.
But such was not to be.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 8 / 5 / 10 / 13 were rewarded with a payout of $898.50 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
