The seventy-first running of the race formerly known as The Hollywood Oaks and the inaugural running of The Rainbow are the stakes on Saturday's card at Santa Anita. We'll be analyzing both below, as we take another run at The Late Pick Four at The Great Race Place.
RACE 6 - The Rainbow $75k - Nine Furlongs Turf

Arcature, winner of The Singletary last time out, has steadily improved in each of his four career starts. Undeniable U and Little Scotty both took the Place in separate contests at today's distance against older horses last month.
Ralis took the Place in his turf debut last time out in the state-restricted Snow Chief. Lucky Bryan took the Show behind Arcature in The Singletary last time out. Smokey Image tries the turf for the first time. While Smokey Image doesn't have a strong turf pedigree, he does have the back class and the talent to win here if he can handle the surface switch.
RACE 7 - [S] MSW - Five and a Half Furlongs Dirt

Gio Mio drops back into the state restricted ranks as well as returns to real dirt.

Kitty Chatter is a first time starter by Tribal Rule, whose progeny tend to do well both in their debuts and on the turf. Warm Endowment missed graduation by just nose at this class level last time out, which was also Warm Endowment's first try on the grass. Starlite Style took the Show at this class level last time out, and could improve with the cutback in distance.
Rebarules Again and Unusually Talented took the Place and Show, respectively, at this class level last time out. All That Heat disappointed as the Post Time Favorite last time out, and could improve with the stretch out.
