We made some significant errors in today's play, most notably seeing chaos where there was in fact order; as Morning Line Favorite (and Post Time third choice on the board) Mistaken Identity was a clear winner in Race 6. However, despite our errors our margin of defeat was just a half length; as that was the distance between Feline Forum and Place horse # 3 Fantastic Mizz (3.90) at the wire in the opening leg of the sequence. Since we had Fantastic Mizz on our tickets as an "A" Selection, had she been able to hold off Feline Forum for another half length we would have had a ticket with three "A's" and a "C"; a ticket good enough to go to the windows and collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 1 / 9 / 1 / 4 were rewarded with a payout of $413.70 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
