We identified Race 7 as being wide open, and we were correct, as neither the Post Time Favorite # 6 He's Cagey (2.40*) nor the second choice on the board, # 4 Thunder Rode (2.70) finished in the money. But we were wrong to single # 4 Nicole Michelle (1.30*) in Race 5, as the best she could do was second best, a length and three quarters behind Gem of a Gal. And that length and three quarters was the difference between us cashing and not cashing, as for the third time in as many tries this month, we finish with five out of six winners on our Golden Pick Six Ticket.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Golden Six sequence of 5 / 6 / 2 / 7 / 3 / 8 were rewarded with a payout of $1,444.58 for their twenty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
