If you did not see California Chrome and # 2 Dortmund (1.30) battle it out in The San Diego, you need to make sure that you watch this incredible race. And if you did watch it, you need to watch it again. Just a remarkable effort from both runners giving their all right down to the wire. When people ask you why you are a fan of horse racing, this is a race that you need to show them.
As regards our play; well, you know how this works. We had 'em all, but not all on any one ticket. And while that may sound like we just had some bad luck, honestly, we really weren't all that close to having it. Quite frankly I can't see any realistic scenario (other than completely blowing our budget) that we would have had Mokat, Tooluckysupermoon, and Shaza all on the same ticket. This was simply a day for us to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
