Apparently those last out Beyer Speed Figures for Desert Madam and # 1 Take It Easyplease (3.80), who took the Show in the opening leg, were right after all. And we were right to have our doubts about # 1 Beholder's (0.10*) chances in The Clement L Hirsch; but wrong not to follow through on them. But had we corrected those errors we still would have found ourselves on the outs today, as we had no part at all of Materialistic, the winner of Race 9.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 7 / 2 / 10 / 6 were rewarded with a payout of $1,379.85 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
