We only had to go three deep on our big ticket in the finale to catch a near 20-1 shot; good for us! And while having the Post Time Favorite as an "A" Selection in the featured eighth race may not look impressive, take note that Mrazek was actually fourth choice (in a six horse field) on the Morning Line. Unfortunately for us it was all for naught, as we had no part of either of the first half winners; thus making this a day for us to contribute instead of collect.
Oh well; onto the next race.
Meanwhile, those who had the correct Pick Four sequence of 2 / 2 / 6 / 5 were rewarded with a payout of $1,942.75 for their fifty cent wager. May God bless them as they spend their winnings.
